Alkimi Tech/Software products

Bespoke software products, built and delivered.

We design and build custom software end to end — data model through to interface. Corporates come to us when the off-the-shelf option doesn't fit and the internal tool has outgrown the spreadsheet it started as.

What we build

  • Custom platforms and internal tools
  • Valuation, underwriting and reporting engines
  • CRM, deal and campaign management systems
  • Integrations, APIs and data pipelines
  • Client and investor portals
  • Rescue and rebuild of stalled projects

Most software agencies learn your business on your budget. We don't, because we have already built and delivered products in this space — ElevateIQ and rePrecinct are ours, in market, in daily use by real estate professionals.

That matters more than it sounds. A team that has taken a product from blank page through to delivery has made every expensive mistake already: the data model that couldn't scale, the integration that broke on real records, the interface nobody adopted. You get the benefit of that without paying for it again.

Why corporate builds fail

Corporates spend enormous sums trying to deliver their own software, and most of it fails. Not for lack of budget, talent or intent — but because delivering software is a craft learned by doing it repeatedly, and a business whose core competency is something else has never had the chance to learn it.

The pattern is consistent. A team is assembled internally, often first-time product people with no lived experience of shipping. Scope grows because nobody has felt the cost of scope before. The data model is designed for the demo rather than year three. Decisions that should take a day take a month because there is no one in the room who has made that call before. Eighteen months later there is a half-built system, an exhausted team and a business case nobody wants to reopen.

The honest answer is that most organisations should focus on what they do exceptionally well and outsource the build to a software company that has executed end to end — repeatedly, in market, with real users. That is not a failure of ambition; it is the same logic that stops you building your own accounting platform.

Lived execution experience cannot be hired in one role or bought in a strategy deck. It sits in a team that has already shipped, already broken things in production and already learned what not to do.

That is what we bring. Alkimi has taken products from blank page to daily use, so your build inherits judgement rather than rediscovering it — while your people stay focused on the business they actually run.

What a bespoke build covers

End to end means end to end. We handle the data model, the backend, the integrations, the interface, the infrastructure and — where it earns its place — the AI layer above it. There is no handoff to a second vendor halfway through.

  • Discovery and data modelling — the part most builds get wrong, and the part that determines whether the product survives year two
  • Product and interface design — designed around how the work is actually done, not how it looks in a demo
  • Engineering — built by senior engineers, supported by our internal agent fleet for review, QA and test coverage
  • Integrations — CRMs, listing feeds, finance systems, portals, data providers, internal databases
  • Delivery and handover — into your repository, your accounts, your infrastructure, documented

How a build runs

We scope, we fix the price, we ship in stages. Every build starts with a short paid discovery so both sides are working from the same understanding before anyone commits to a number. From there, work lands in reviewable increments rather than disappearing for six months.

The code, the data and the infrastructure are yours throughout. If you stop working with us you keep everything and can hand it to another team without renegotiating a thing.

Who this is for

Corporates with a process that no vendor sells software for. Property firms whose internal tool has become business-critical and can no longer be maintained by the person who built it. Proptech founders who need an engineering team that already understands leases, comps, covenants and campaign cycles without a six-month ramp.

We also take over existing codebases. Not every engagement is a fresh start, and a stalled build is often cheaper to rescue than to replace — though we'll tell you honestly which one it is.

Questions

Straight answers.

What kinds of products do you build?

Custom platforms, internal tools, reporting and underwriting engines, CRM and deal management systems, client and investor portals, and the data pipelines underneath them. Our depth is in real estate, but the engineering discipline transfers to any corporate with a process that off-the-shelf software doesn't fit.

How long does a bespoke build take?

A first usable version typically lands in three to five months, with a short paid discovery before that. We ship in reviewable increments rather than disappearing until launch, so you see working software early and can change direction while it's still cheap.

Who owns the intellectual property?

You do. Code is delivered into your repository, hosting sits in your own accounts, and your data is never used for training or shared with other clients.

Can you take over an existing codebase?

Yes. Rescue and rebuild is a regular engagement for us. We start with a paid technical audit and tell you honestly whether the existing code is worth continuing with or whether a rebuild is cheaper over the life of the product.

Do you only work with real estate firms?

Property is our depth and where we are genuinely differentiated. We do take corporate work outside it where the problem is a data-heavy platform, which is what we are good at.

Tell us what you need built.

Thirty minutes, no deck. Describe the problem and we'll tell you what we'd build, what we'd buy off the shelf, and roughly what it costs.
